Dr. IFTIKHAR AHMED KHAN (Ph.D.)

Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed Khan (1980) completed his Masters in Computer Sciences from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad Campus Pakistan. He completed his Ph.D. in Feb 2009 from Brunel University, United Kingdom. His Ph.D. was related to the fields of affective computing and Human-Computer Interaction.

His areas of interests are in Software Engineering (SE), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Affective computing as well as Image Processing. Currently, he is teaching at COMSATS Abbottabad Campus in the Department of Computer Sciences as an Assistant Professor.

He remained a member of the board of studies for Software Engineering Department at U.E.T. The basic purpose of this board was to review courses and course contents over the time to meet modern and state of the art requirements. He also worked as a chairman of Department of Computer Software Engineering.

He served for five years in the University of Engineering and Technology, Computer Software Department and in the Department of Computer Science.
